CiA/ SALT CAMP

I'm just back from CiA and SALT camp. it was super duper uberly awesome!

:( i have a bad point ! THE CAMP SHOULD BE LONGERRRR! At least 5 days and 4 nights ! how cool would that have beenn hehe
when we first got at the campsite at around 7 ish. we were assigned to our cabins which the leaders chose our cabin buddies. i miss sleeping with peggy but i did on the last night there :) which was last night. and in the morning i woke up and peggy was gone. i thought i pushed her off the edge. i was aching all over cause i dont think i flipped the whole night thinking that imight slap her in the face - according to mum when i used to sleep with her, i'd slam into the wall at night.
anyway,
then we had camp rules and all the info about camp and things. the video was soo scary! compared to last years -it was soo hilarious. but it was so scary, i think it was from like. SAW and they did all these things. i cant stand horror stuff. *woohoo high5 lewis!*
and we went to bed.

Next morning we all woke up so early. and when someone walked across the ground - it was like. BANGBANGBANGBANG in the cabins at 6 in the morning. as Dan (the speaker) described it. on the first morning there, there were like a galloping group of grade 8/9 children running across for a jog. hahaha
breakfast was goooooood. i love camps. i love camp food too. they arent that bad.

We swam and played basketball and STARGAZING (L) i saw 3 shooting stars while bonfiring YUMMY MARSHMALLOWS. this is the only time i like marshmallows. all the other times - its gross. but i sometimes eat it anyway..... and we also played this game i forgot what its called. It has alerted me in all the wallaby poo around us. ewww.
hahaha. my line of that night was "ewww, is there poo on your shoes"

SKITS were so much fun. they were soo funny. i loved AMBUSH and HOOKS. ours was alright. it was so random and lame. Cause my group was called Mousetrap we had to include our name and some other things in it. and we had like, 3 blind mice, ratatouille, stewart little, tom and jerry, itchy and scratchy, and all these other mice who die somehow and im the mouse lady that mourns after every single frienddies. so very embarrassing and scary. but it was pretty good. Good job MOUSETRAP!

Devotion and Dan Au's talks were really inspiring and very challenging.
In devo - it has.. like. made me realise again that God has created all things and that he is the one and only God through whome all things came and through whom we live. without him we wouldnt even be here. and that He loves us.
God is love.
In the talks and discussion times: it has questioned me if i have captured the Awesome Plan of God. what is me grand purpose of life? God has done everyone for us. We went through the book of Ephesians. Reminding us the three ways - Praise him, be more like him and be ready for him- ways to respond.
it has personally challenged me to think - Is god involved in your life today?
When we are captured by death, freed for life and Captured to be one.

I found the last talk really challenging at that unless you see the battle against satan and the sins in this world - you will not fight. and that God has given you weapons! and it questions us so clearly.

haha, during sharing time, i went up wanting to say things. but as i was up there. i forgot everything. I dont remember what i said :( and i burst out crying.i wanted to say that
God really touched me then. It made me realise how foolish and stupid i have been the past few weeks. I was so "captured" in such worldly things that i have faded away from God. i was not prepared for the things God has wanted me to do. and i was definitely not playing as a team in his awesome plan. You can fight back. I can fight back and i will. cause life with God in the centre is so much better than like, a million of other things that interest you. By HEAPS. And i thank Dan, and eveyrone who organised this camp and the Theme. so very much. it has really hit me back home. Thankyou !

ohhhhhhs, and peggy and i had our first high. it was pretttty. :)
our campsite was in.. ummm. i forgot. but it had such a beautiful view of the mountains. and had a waterfall and creek !
one of my fave things to do in spare time was shout to the mountains and hear my echoes. hehe

In one of our games time. we had this Amazing race thing. Where i walked into a pole full on. We were walking by the swimming pool and i was watching the other team do their activity and so i was walking sideways. and then i bumped into this random light pole there. it hurt. but it was so funny at the sametime. and in spare time just to watch people get pushed into the pull. its so funnnn! (to push people in). if i swam i'd lose my ninja powers. Nathan doesnt believe me

OHHH. Peggy weggy and memy homy made a video too. :) warning, its very lame. but i love it.
hehe. i liked the showers too.

im just writing down things i remember.
OHH. and UNO, with uno hearts is like. so unfairrr. you're like. okay its all good. and then you get this card with 23 on it. and you're like. where did that come from. and i love TABOO. im so bad at it tho, cant think of anything and during the time i get like. 1 done. haha. especially when theres only 2 of us in a team and the other team even comes in and helps cause im so bad. haha. go us lewis! ....again.

our last day was very good i reckon. :) our last lunch was delicious. THANK YOU COOKS!
ergh. i cant think of anything else for now.
so i'll wrap up here. but one thing for sure
